Renée A. Rubino Appointed to Law Firm Opening and Operations Committee of the NJSBA Pandemic Task Force
Renée A. Rubino, Esq., a Member of the firm, has been appointed to the Law Firm Opening and Operations Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association Pandemic Task Force, which will address issues specific to law firms of all sizes and provide recommendations and guidance for opening and maintaining safe and healthy law office environments for lawyers, employees, and clients. The New Jersey State Bar Association has created a sweeping task force to examine issues facing the legal community as a result of the COVID-19 public health crisis. The Task Force is Chaired by NJSBA Past President Thomas H. Prol, Esq. and brings together thought leaders from across the profession to form five committees:
1) Law Firm Opening and Operations; 2) Resuming Jury Trials (Civil and Criminal); 3) Practice of Law Issues; 4) Courthouse Operations and Logistics; and 5) Access to Justice.
The goal of the Task Force is to provide resources, information, and relevant guidance in each of these critical areas to the New Jersey legal community and to all stakeholders in government – the Governor’s office, the state Legislature, and the Supreme Court. This newly formed task force will include retired judges and lawyers representing NJSBA sections and committees, local, affinity, and specialty bar associations. Ms. Rubino was selected because of her unique experience and expertise in the legal community.
