Ms. Rubino has a great deal of experience in all facets of family law, including divorce litigation, custody and parenting time issues, pre-nuptial agreements, post-judgment litigation, modification and enforcement of marital (property) settlement agreements, domestic violence, dissolution of civil unions and LGBT issues. In addition to her many years of trial experience, Ms. Rubino is a court certified mediator and collaborative divorce practitioner. Ms. Rubino prides herself on making every effort to get clients through the divorce process in the most cost-efficient manner possible, with an emphasis on the well-being of the children. It takes an experienced family law attorney to understand when to aggressively litigate an issue and when to skillfully negotiate it.
Ms. Rubino has received the AV Preeminent® rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, which is based on colleague and client reviews “recognizing lawyers for their strong legal ability and high ethical standards.” She is consistently selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer and included on New Jersey Family Magazine’s list of “Best Lawyers for Families.” She has been recognized by NJBIZ as one of New Jersey’s Best 50 Women in Business, selected for the New Jersey Law Journal’s 40 Under 40 (2004 edition), and included in the October 2011 edition of NJ Monthly Magazine as one of New Jersey’s Leading Women Entrepreneurs.
Ms. Rubino’s unique experience and expertise in the legal community have garnered an appointment to the Law Firm Opening and Operations Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Task Force. She’s a dedicated contributing member of the legal community volunteering her service on the District XIII Ethics Committee and the Executive Board of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association currently serving as Co-Chief Operating Officer. She is a member of the Executive Women of New Jersey and the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council. A former Adjunct Professor of Legal Research and Writing at Seton Hall Law School, Ms. Rubino has published many articles in the area of family law and serves as a speaker for several organizations on family law issues, including the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and the National Association of Social Workers, New Jersey Chapter (NASW-NJ).
